In 2016, Malaya Jewellery was born from a singular, uncompromising vision: to elevate Vajrayana-themed jewelry to the level of reverence it truly deserves.

As a student, practitioner, and professional translator of the Tibetan and Dzongkha Vajrayana Buddhist traditions with over two decades of experience, I spent years immersed in the spiritual heart of the Himalayas, including Bhutan, Nepal, and India. During my time there, I grew increasingly frustrated by a recurring theme: the poor quality, lack of fine craftsmanship, and glaring iconographic inaccuracies that plagued so much of the Buddhist-themed jewellery available. I realized that these profound sacred traditions required an authentic, meticulously crafted representation in the world of fine jewellery. I wanted to create pieces that honored their origins—art that could genuinely serve as a source of inspiration, healing, protection, and awakening for the wearer.

Driven by this need for authenticity, I stepped into the role of designer, channeling my extensive background in traditional Bhutanese and Buddhist iconography into every single piece Malaya Jewellery produces. What began as a personal mission to correct the narrative of Himalayan jewellery has since flourished into a globally recognized brand. Today, we are deeply humbled by our immense popularity, particularly in Bhutan and the Himalayas. Our patrons span all walks of life, and we are profoundly honored to count highly revered spiritual masters and even monarchs among those who wear our creations.

Though we are now a Georgia-based brand, our creative soul remains firmly planted in the Himalayas. Bringing these sacred designs to reality is a collaborative, international effort. While each piece originates from a single spark of insight and a foundational design, it requires countless hours to perfect. To achieve this, we partner with an elite team of master artists, craftsmen, and visionaries spanning Europe and Southeast Asia—including talents from France, England, Bhutan, Wales and Thailand.

Together, we honor the meticulous, time-honored processes required for true fine jewellery. From the initial calligraphy and drawing to 3D design, wax carving, metal casting, hand-filing, polishing, and precise stone setting, no detail is overlooked.

Partnership with Tashi Mannox, a master calligrapher, added a layer of authenticity to the calligraphy related collections.

We exclusively utilize the finest materials—including sterling silver, solid gold, platinum, rhodium, diamonds, and an array of precious stones. Our catalog features versatile unisex collections alongside items specifically tailored for men and women, ensuring that the transformative power of these sacred symbols is accessible to everyone.
